LEWIS, RONALD D.

Age 53, of Lapeer, after a very long illness has passed into the arms of his loving God on July 24, 2012. Ron was born November 12, 1958 to Marsha and Larry Lewis. He was raised in Flint and graduated from Carman High School, then Mott Community College. Ron Married his best friend and soul-mate, Linda Minnie on Valentine’s Day, 1978. Ron was very proud to have been known by many in Lapeer as the “Music Man.” He ran lights and sound for many venues and special events – including the Pix Theater. Ron loved music and playing guitar. He was adventurous, fun and will be missed by many friends and most everyone he met. Mr. Lewis is survived by wife, Linda; daughter, Mandy – who was and is, the love of his life, Mandy’s significant other, Nate; mother, Marsha; stepfather, Ernie; stepmother, Drusa; beloved siblings, Rhonda, Lisa, Larry and David as well as their spouses and children; mother-in-law, Patricia;
sister-in-law, Sandy; special nieces, Jenney and Jessie; special friends, Gary, James and Cathy who were so helpful to him in the end. He will be welcomed into heaven by his father, Larry and father-in-law: Bruce. A memorial service celebration will take place at the Pix Theater, Lapeer, on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 6:00pm (the family will receive friends the hour prior). Memorial contributions may be made to Pix Theater or to the family. In the words of Jimmy Hendrix, “Fly oh my sweet angel… Tomorrow, I will be by your side.”
