Thomas L. Huver, of Flint, Formerly of Grand Blanc, age 64, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 5151 Lennon Road, Flint, Reverend Desiree Lawson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the church. Thomas was born in Grand Rapids, MI on March 17, 1949, the son of Lewis and Elizabeth “Bette” Huver. Thomas has been an organist since he was 8 years old. He was the music director at Trinity Presbyterian Church for 25 years. He was a member of the American Organist Guild. He was an organist at Crossroads Village for many weddings. He was also a Produce Manager at Meijer, Papa Joe’s and Denny’s Market. Surviving are former wife and best friend, Phyllis Huver; daughter, Michele Huver; son, Paul Huver; daughter, Jillisa (Daniel) Fitzgerald; grandsons, Daniel and Thaddeus; brothers, Jerry (Gwen) Huver and Dan (Debra) Huver; nephews, Patrick, Daniel Jr. and Dominic Huver; niece, Andrea (Greg) Hall; mother and father-in-law, Josephine and Palmer Anderson; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and best friend, John Thomas. Huver, Phyllis Phyllis R. Huver age 68 of Grand Rapids, passed away May 23, 2017 at her residence. Preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Huver and parents Palmer & Josephine Anderson. Phyllis is survived by her children; Michele Huver, Paul Huver, Jillisa (Dan) Fitzgerald, grandsons; Daniel & Thaddeus, brother-in-laws; Jerry (Gwen) Huver, Dan (Deb) Huver, niece & nephews; Andrea (Greg) Hall, Patrick, Daniel, & Dominic Huver & many cousins and friends. She was a retiree from Meijer after 18 years of service. Phyllis was always smiling and brought joy into others lives and was a mother to many. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday May 31st at 1PM, at the Arsulowicz Brothers East Chapel, 937 Michigan St. NE, where the family will receive visitors from 11AM-1PM prior to the service. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
