AVILES, Mr. Johnny Lee-age 55 passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 with 10:30 a.m. family hour at Serenity Funeral Chapel G-2340 W. Carpenter Rd. Flint, MI 48505. Pastor Jesse England officiating. The final resting place for Mr. Aviles will be Flint Memorial Park Mt. Morris, MI. Calling hours are 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Serenity Funeral Chapel.
Johnny Lee Aviles was born June 28, 1958 in Flint, MI the son of Benigno and Winnie Aviles. Mr. Aviles was a long time resident of Flint and an affiliate of Living Word Family Worship Center as well as of El Shaddai. He attended Beecher High School graduating from the class of 1977. He was a bass guitarist for the Jesse Couch Band.
Mr. Aviles leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Laura Shuck; four children, Petrina (Calvin) Aviles-Dunson, Johnny Lee(Karissa) Aviles Jr., Steven Allen (Krystal) Aviles, Hannah Lee Newton; six step-children, Kami (John Frazier) Starks, Robert Major, Amber (John) Langworthy, LeeAnn (Josh) Browner, Josh Shuck, Casey (Chad) Blades; grandchildren, Leci, Shalynn, Cameron, Sherod Jr., Kaylin, Brayden, Paisley, Adrianna, Peyton, Little Steven, Kaylee, Darrin, Preston, Nathan, Matthew, Dean, Lil Chad, Kohl, Kaidence, Riley, Bryson, Lil Josh, Jordon, Leelann, Lailoni, Kaiden, Alijah, Jasiah and Maddison; two sisters, Ada Aviles and Juanita Aviles; brothers-in-law, Carlos Cardona and Scott Strutz; brothers, Jose Aviles, Benny (Cindy) Aviles, Danny Aviles; sister-in-law, Rose; nieces, Stephani Fink, Stephanie Aviles, Maranda Aviles and Jessinia Aviles; nephews, Ricky, Itto, Nelson, Benny III, Chad, James, Joey, Daniel, Todd, Brian, Keith; cousins, Gary, Ricky, Linda, and Victor Delacruz; mother and father-in-law, Ruth and Dale O’Dell; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends: Emmy and Triston Atwood, Jesse Couch, Angie Newton, Joyce and Michael Dique, Sarah Horton and Chuck Robbins.
